Sanjay Kapoor Bags ‘Most Inspiring Bollywood Actor’ Award In UK, check how Twitter Reacted on it
Sanjay Kapoor who is more involved in film production and at times even in direction has been given the Most Inspiring Actor Award in the UK. He barely acts, all one can see him is in a cameo role in one film or the other that remains mostly his or his brothers’ venture. Recently we saw him in Sonam Kapoor’s film The Zoya Factor where he played the father’s role of Sonam. Hence getting such an award was a bit surprising for many who heard him getting the same.
As per reports, the award was given to Sanjay Kapoor by the House of Commons, of the British Parliament for being an inspiring actor from India in the B Town. Sanjay Kapoor who has been in the industry for past three decades active in different roles was excited to get the same. While talking about the same he said that he always wanted to get the award for 25 years in this industry. He said that he is pleased to know the fact of how people still love him.
However, Twitter reacted in a very strange way expressing their awe and surprise to see the actor winning the said award. One of the users said, that people on Twitter kept doing left and right and we see Sanjay Kapoor an award without any buzz. Someone asked to explain the contribution of the actor in Bollywood. Someone said that the actor only did akhiya milau and churau how come on earth he gets such a big award. Someone even claimed that the Kapoor Khandaan does not know him. Someone compared him with Arbaaz Khan saying that the latter does better work than the former.
