Zid unlike the other releases like Ungli failed to get a good response over the box office. However, the opening day and the 1st weekend collection for Zid was decent, thanks to the bold avatar of Mannara, however, as the movie entered into the weekdays, it suffered the bad fate. However, considering the debut star in the form of Mannara, and low star value the 1st Week collection at Box office for Zid seems decent, which went to around 14 crores.
This erotic thriller movie primarily had its collections especially from the mass belts. As per the reports, the movie was able to perform better in the Northern circuits, however, the urban centers including Delhi, Mumbai and Pune, were seen low. The film , however, would be hampered the big way considering the release of Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha’s action comedy – Action Jackson.
