Raj Kundra, a businessman, was released from Byculla Jail on Tuesday after more than a month in custody. In the adult film racket case, he was granted bail on Monday evening. A Mumbai court granted him bail on the condition that he provide a Rs 50,000 guarantee. Raj Kundra was photographed exiting the city’s Byculla Jail late Tuesday morning, surrounded by a big mob of media workers and police protection.
Raj Kundra hasn’t been seen since August, when he appeared in court. A grey tee and denims were seen on the businessman, as well as a black mask and a large red tika on his forehead. The dishevelled hair of Raj Kundra did not go unnoticed. To get to his car, the businessman had to fight his way through the crowd.
Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra’s wife and actress, posted a nice message on social media shortly after he was freed from prison. “There are always going to be moments that push you to the ground. In times like these, I truly believe that if you fall seven times, make yourself strong enough to be able to stand back up eight times,” Shilpa Shetty wrote.
