Vicky Kaushal responds to viral video of being pushed away by Salman khan’s security; calls it ‘unnecessary chatter’

A video of Vicky Kaushal being pushed away by Salman Khan’s bodyguards has been going viral on social media and stirred lot of controversy. The incident happened during the IIFA awards, held in Abu Dhabi. Now, a day after the video went viral, Vicky Kaushal reacted to the incident.

Talking to the media on the green carpet of IIFA, Raazi actor stated that often things are not actually the same as they appear. Calling the whole fiasco an ‘unnecessary chatter’.

Reacting to the viral video in a media interaction, the actor said, “A lot of times there is unnecessary chatter about things. There’s no point about it. Things don’t actually are as they seem in the video.” He further added, “There is no point in talking about that.”

Vicky and Salman Khan also met during the ceremony and exchanged warm embraces. Vicky was seen conversing with other people while Salman approached and stood behind him. As Vicky turned around, the two actors exchanged a touching embrace.

For the unversed, Yesterday a video of Vicky Kaushal and Salman Khan went viral on social media. In the video, Salman was seen gracing the event with his security, while Vicky was seen taking a selfie with one of his fans. Vicky appears to greet Salman by reaching out his hand. A security guard, however, pushes Vicky aside when Salman does not reciprocate the gesture and only glances at him before continuing onward. Vicky’s facial gestures clearly show his attempt to shake hands again, but Salman appears to miss him and continues without acknowledging him.

The IIFA Awards 2023 is being held on Yash Island in Abu Dhabi. Other Bollywood celebs attending the mega awards include Abhishek Bachchan, Nora Singh, Rakul Preet Singh, and Esha Gupta, in addition to Vicky Kaushal and Salman Khan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for the release of his next romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, in which he will appear alongside Sara Ali Khan. Helmed by Laxman Utekar, the film is set to be released in theatres on 2 June, 2023.

On the other hand, Salman Khan is all set to star in Tiger 3, which is part of the YRF Spy Universe. The film which stars Katrina Kaif and Emran Hashmi will arrive in cinemas on Diwali i.e. 10 November 2023.
