Malayalam actor Sreenath Bhasi was arrested for abusing a lady journalist – DEETS INSIDE
Again shocking news has surfaced. Malayalam actor Sreenath Bhasi has landed in big trouble after he was arrested on the complaint of a journalist. As per the reports of the media, the actor was arrested by the Maradu police on Monday after a woman anchor complained to him that Srinath abused her during an interview. This incident happened during the promotion of Bhasi’s film Chattambi last week. He lost his cool after questions of inquiry were reportedly put before him during an interview.
Sreenath Bhasi is reportedly close to leaving the Maradu Police station because the accusations against him are bailable with the production of sureties. The Pranayam actor then apologized, claiming that he hadn’t actually abused anyone; rather, he had simply responded as one might after being insulted. Bhasi further stated that he had not broken any laws. However, the Police filed a complaint against the actor and requested that he come before them without giving him any consideration. Sreenath was interrogated by police for an hour on September 26 before being taken into custody.

Before making the transition to the film industry, Sreenath Bhasi worked as a radio jockey. He made his acting debut in the 2011 film “Pranayam,” which was directed by Blessy and also starred Mohanlal and Anupam Kher. He gained instant notoriety with his very first picture and went on to star in around 50 movies. Abhilash S. Kumar directed Sreenath’s most recent film, Chattambi, which starred Chemban Vinod Jose, Grace Antony, and Mythili in the key roles. The Malayalam film premiered on September 23, 2022.
