Sam Bahadur’s Box Office Performance on Day 3: Vicky Kaushal’s Film Gains Momentum in the Opening Weekend

Sam Bahadur showed encouraging signs over the weekend, with its Sunday collections showing steady growth. After collecting ₹6.25 crores on Friday, its Saturday collections climbed to ₹9 crores, and Sunday collections reached a respectable ₹10.30 crores. While these collections would have been considered excellent on their own, the film’s performance is being overshadowed by the success of Animal, which has grossed over ₹60 crores on each of the weekend days.

Despite the stiff competition, Sam Bahadur has managed to hold its ground. The film’s growth is a positive sign, as it could have easily succumbed to the pressure of Animal’s dominance. Just like the legendary Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, who never backed down from a challenge, his biopic is refusing to surrender and is fighting for its place in the box office battlefield.

To maintain its momentum, Sam Bahadur needs to maintain its collections from today onwards. Ideally, it should aim for at least ₹5 crores today, with ₹5.50-6 crores being a more comfortable position. The film’s future prospects depend on its ability to sustain this level of performance and attract audiences despite the presence of Animal.

The Vicky Kaushal-led film Sam Bahadur has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing the ₹25 crore mark at the box office. With weekend collections reaching ₹25.55 crores, the film is now set its sights on a first-week target of ₹45 crores. Achieving this target would ensure that Sam Bahadur continues to play in theaters for three weeks until the release of Dunki and Salaar, potentially leading to a lifetime collection of around ₹75 crores, a commendable feat for the film.
