Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari Director Abhishek Sharma Spills the Beans On Boycott Trend Against Movies
Of late, the social media sites have become the platform to agitate against different films and people. We see many coming up with trends like boycott films for any reason. Recently as the film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’s trailer was released in the media, it witnessed the boycott trend on social media. The film directed by Abhishek Sharma, which happens to be a comedy drama film has actors like Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the leading role.
The film also has Annu Kapoor, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Vijay Raaz. While the trailer did get a good response from the audience, there were still people who tried to trend boycott SPMB. Talking about the same, the director of the film Abhishek Sharma was seen talking to the portal Koimoi about the same. He said he got the idea of making the film from Zee and he found it easy to make a comedy film from it. In this way, it went smooth for him to make a movie on it.
While talking about the trend of boycotting the films in the B Town using social media, he said he is not aware about the negativity people bring in about the social media platform. He said this could be human emotions coming on these platforms and they have their own way to react. He said when they saw people hating the film and trending the boycotting of the same, one can even find people loving it as well. Now, let’s see how things would move.
