The Akshay Kumar starrer film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has entered into the third weekend and so far the film is moving smooth. After the end of the second week, the film based on the Indian PM initiative pertaining to cleanliness and bringing toilets to home, has ended up giving the makers a good collection for sure. In fact, with its good performance over the box office, the movie has surpassed even the lifetime collection of the average grocer of Salman Khan called Tubelight. With 96 crores in its first week collection, it has emerged out as the highest grocer over the box office.
At the end of the second week, the film managed to get 120 crore with some drop in the second week for the obvious reasons including getting films like Bareilly Ki Barfi and the much awaited Hollywood film called Annabelle. So, when the film reached in its third weekend, the collection turned low yet the overall collection of the film seems to be decent. As per reports, the third weekend box office collection for Toilet:Ek Prem Katha tolled to around 132 crores, which is certainly going to be a decent collection. And now with time passing by the collection for the film is certainly going to dip.
Despite the fact that the movie is enjoying tax rebate at many of the states ruled by BJP, the film has given a decent collection at the end of the third weekend. Also, the promotion of the film still seems to be going on with several states in the north screening the film to create the awareness about the movie in a big way.
