Gully Boy Makes History Bagging a Total 13 Awards in Filmfare Awards 2020
It was a big-time for Zoya Akhtar and the team of Gully Boy to see winning a maximum number of seats in Bollywood popular award called Filmfare Awards. The film bagged a total of 13 awards getting the popular categories like the Best Actor and Actress awards for Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt respectively along with getting the best director award as well for Zoya Akhtar and the best film category as well.
It has beaten the record of Black and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge that bagged the maximum number of awards for Filmfare getting 11 and 10 awards respectively. The other awards that Zoya Akhtar’s film Gully Boy has bagged include Supporting Role both male and female, best music album, dialogues, etc. The other categories that bagged the awards include Ayushmann Khurrana with Best Actor Critics and Bhumi Pednekar also getting the best actress critic award for the film Saandh Ki Aankh.
The other key awards include the Best Film (Critics) – Article 15 and Sonchiriya, the Taapsee Pannu for Saand Ki Aankh, the Best Actor In A Supporting Role Amruta Subhash, the Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Male)Siddhant Chaturvedi (Gully Boy), the Best Music Album for Gully Boy- Zoya Akhtar-Ankur Tewari, Kabir Singh to Mithoon, Amaal Mallik, Vishal Mishra, Sachet and Parampara and Akhil Sachdeva.
