Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is Hitting in China in 56,000 Screens

Yes, you heard it right, the last film from Rajinikanth called 2.0 has been released in China with not less than a whopping amount of screens – 56000. HY Media is the company that has taken the distribution work in the country. It is the same company that has promoted and distributed the Akshay Kumar starrer film PadMan. Now, we see the same company promoting the film in not less than 56,000 Screens in the country.

It was revealed that 2.0 will open in China in around 56,000 screens, which ends up making it be among the biggest releases in the country. Since the film is released in 3D film and revolves around the great animated character it has managed to gain that huge amount of screens in China. Earlier the film was supposed to hit on July 12 but with Disney’s Lion King hitting the same day, the makers were smart enough to push the release date of the South Indian film to the next date.

The film directed by Shankar has given Rajinikanth a comeback with the role of a scientist Vaseegaran and Chitti robot. He played the titular character 2.0, carrying the reloaded version of Chitti again played by Rajinikanth. The film also allowed Akshay Kumar to do his debut in South Indian films. He played the role of an ornithologist who is against the cell phone towers as they have been playing a bad role in killing birds. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
