Pushpa 2 to get POSTPONED To 2024 ? Here is a reason

Pushpa 2 is one of the most anticipated films of 2023, and fans of both Allu Arjun and the first film are excitedly anticipating the sequel. However, it appears that fans will have to wait a little longer than anticipated.

The production of Pushpa 2 has reportedly been halted. The cause for this is director Sukumar’s dissatisfaction with the finished product. Yes, you read that correctly! According to the latest rumors, director Sukumar is dissatisfied with the footage they have so far and intends to delete all of it and re-shoot the complete schedule. However, no formal statement has been issued by the director, producer, or any of the cast members as of yet.

Pushpa 2’s latest one-month schedule was in Vizag and Visakhapatnam, but it was halted a while ago and has not been resumed yet.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is a sequel to Pusha: The Rise, which was released in original Telugu as well as Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada dub versions in December 2021. Allu Arjun played the titular character of a rare red sandalwood smuggler who makes enemies as he advances in the smuggler’s world. The film also starred Rashmika Mandanna as Allu Arjun’s love interest and Fahadh Faasil played the lead antagonist.

The prequel grossed ₹300 crore worldwide from all versions, and emerged as the highest grossing Indian film in 2021. Allu Arjun, who became the Pan India Star after the blockbuster success of Pushpa: The Rise has few more films in his kitty apart from Pushpa 2.

The actor will be next seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next. The makers have kept the rest of details of the yet to be titled film under wraps. Sandeep Reddy will begin working on the film after the release of his upcoming most awaited gangster drama Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor in never seen before role.
