Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati is back in trouble

shooting-padmavati-hit-0001

The film Padmavati by SLB has been making headlines since quite some time now. Right from the rumours about potraying the wrong facts in the film to the sets being vandalised and a worker dying on the set, we had heard a lot about the movie. And now we hear that the movie might be delayed because of a strike. It seems that there is no end to the issues that the film has been facing. Though the director has done a lot to make things under control to make itself set to release the movie by this October but the trouble for the film seems to be adding up with every passing time.

Now with the current Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) strike will certainly going to play havoc with the film’s schedule. As per reports around 2,50,000 cine employees and workers are now gone for an indefinite strike since 15 August, demanding to act on their various issues which have been pending at their producers, which are to be addressed at the earliest. These include the spot boys, junior artistes and all types of workers who work hard on the film sets and the TV industry are seen taking part in the strike under the aegis of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).

The grievance of these workers have been pending since past so many years and they have largely against the TV producers and not the film producers yet the films are to be affected with this strike. As per reports, the crew was working for 18 hours a day in order to meet the schedule, which however, was badly hampered with the shoots going pending due to the workers going on strike. So, after going for a number of delays the films are back for another delay.
