Review
Once the film starts, you get to hear an interesting and unique audio teaser from the voice of the man at the center stage called Arun himself. Well, the people of Mumbai are well versed with the rise and fall of this man. For the people who barely know much about this man, it can act like a refresher option over the life and times of the gangster of Bombay. He was referred as Maqsood by Dawood Ibrahim but mosst of the movie part doesnt come with much of the surprise as people have been knowing about this man, yet the director is seen taking the audience into the gritty and dark world with smaller amount of dramatization. Slowly and steadily the audience is prepared to catch much of dreaded firing and similar things.
The first half of the film is seen touching the growth of Gawli as he is seen like a don and the second half is seen attempting to stay with his life like a family man and the politician. Now, talking about the performances, the Arjun in the protagonist role with the graph. He was successful in a big way while playing the chracter of of the crime drama. The female character played by the lady Aish too seemed okay unlike what she has done in the previous movies. The other elements like music, screenplay, direction, editing and photography seemed par to the required quality, which helped the film to gain the entertainment value.
Daddy Last Word
The crime drama called Daddy, if happens to be your genre choice, it is going to fuel your imagination. The actor happens to be the part of India’s interestign crime-history, which comes on the silver screen. This has however given the audience the closest of the chance to have an interaction with him.
