Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid Khan’s Debut Film ‘Maharaja’ Will Be The First Film To Resume Shoot Post Lockdown

jUNAIDJunaid Khan has been in the news for a long time now as he is all set to make his Bollywood debut with none other than Yash Raj Film. Now, as we all know that on Saturday, the Government of Maharashtra announced the new 5 levels unlock plan, according to which the films and shoots can resume with a work duration of just eight hours. Junaid Khan’s Maharaja will be the first film to resume post the lockdown.

The film marks the debut of Aamir Khan’s son. Maharaja is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The makers of the film will be resuming the shoot from today itself on the sets constructed in Mumbai’s Marol.

As per reports, the producer of the film Aditya Chopra got to resume the shoot for his films right after the government issued new SOPs. 100 members of the team took their first dose of vaccination and RT-PCR test on Sunday.

For now, the makers of the film have decided to work with a limited number of people. Only 25 junior artists, along with a few important members from the cast and production are asked to join.

The movie Maharaja is based on the Maharaj libel case from 1862. Junaid will be essaying the role of journalist Karsandas Mulji. Actors Shalini Pandey, Sharvari Wagn and Jaideep Ahlawat are also part of the film. Although, no official announcement of the film has been made yet.
