Arina Dey is a TV actress and a model based in Mumbai. She hails from Calcutta, West Bengal, India. She was born on 21st June 1989 in Calcutta. She did her schooling from Calcutta and later completed her college from the University of Calcutta doing her graduation. While she was a student, she was attracted to acting, but her father was strict and never allowed her to try this. However, she was extremely interested in pursuing her career in acting and with loads of pleading she was allowed to do theatres. She did a couple of plays, and finally, when expressed her desire to shift to Mumbai to pursue her a full-time career, she was not allowed, but she worked hard to convince her father and then headed to this city.
She reached Mumbai in 2015 and had to struggle to get her first break. She had to do the role of a young mother in her first TV show called Muskan. She replaced Neha Marda for this role once she decided to quit it. However, before her first break in a small screen in Mumbai, she had worked in a few Bengali films. She has no qualms of playing a young mother as she believes in doing the roles with conviction rather than getting typecast for any kind of role in the industry. She said she is not choosy at the moment and would love to do films or TV shows of any story or script.
