Find out Ranveer Singh’s secret behind his physique in ‘Padmavati’

The handsome and dashing Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has wooed the viewers with his energetic screen presence in the movies. Ranveer Singh is all set to impress everyone with his negative role as Sultan Alauddin Khilji in upcoming royal period-drama ‘Padmavati’. The actor delights the audience with his new look in this venture and here is the secret of how Ranveer gained muscular, raw avatar for this flick.

Mustafa Ahmed trained Ranveer Singh in achieving such physique. Ahmed revealed that Ranveer banned processed food and sugar from his diet. He ate brown rice, sweet potatoes that have good carbs. Every day, Ranveer consumed 150-180 gms of protein and followed a high-protein diet. In his meal, the actor had around 10-15 gms of carbohydrates, 30 gms of protein and equal amount of fat. Ranveer used to have four meals in a day along with one snack, said Ahmed. The actor will be seen in lean yet muscular physique in the film. He has been updating his fans about his new look as he shares pictures of his workout on social media and this look of him had left everyone speechless.

Prior to this, Ranveer Singh essayed the Maratha warrior in the blockbuster ‘Bajirao Mastani’ by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmavati’ also stars Deepika Padukone in the role Rani Padmavati and Shahid Kapoor as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in never-seen-before looks. Ranveer will once again share the screen with Deepika in this historical venture. Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, ‘Padmavati’ releases on December 1.

Apart from the film ‘Padmavati’, Ranveer Singh will be seen in Kabir Khan’s forthcoming directorial ‘83’ in which he will play the Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev. The actor will be getting trained for this role by Kapil Dev himself.
