SRK To Receive Honorary Doctorate For Contributing In The Promotion Of Urdu Language
Shah Rukh Khan is back in news and this time to receive the honorary doctorate at the 6th convocation of Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad today. The convocation will be presided by Pranab Mukherjee and he will be conferring the degree upon the same. As per the university officials, both the King Khan and the founder of Rekhta Foundation Rajiv Saraf will be awarded the honorary doctorates for their contribution in Urdu language and culture promotion.
As per reports, every year we have more than 2885 post graduates and graduates, 276 M.Phil and Ph.d from a number of disciplines at various courses regarding awarded degrees. As per reports, around 44,235 graduates from the distance mode and thus would be given the degrees in absentia.
As per the officials, the convocation will be honored by a number of dignitaries, which include the Telangana Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan, Mr. Mohammad Mahmood Ali the Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Zafar Younus Sareshwala the Vice Chancellor will be present on the occasion.
