Plot

Meet Bobby played by Kangana Ranaut, she is an arrogant, sick and weird lady who remains the object of hate by most of her family members and people in the society is a big nuisance in her real life. On the other side, we have Rajkummar Rao as well who is seen busy with a similar lifestyle like Bobby in his character Keshav. Then there is a murder in the film and these two remain the suspect of the same. There seems to be too many twists and turn in the film but what goes at the end is interesting to explore in the film in the nearby theatre.

Review

Imagine one of the worst story and conditions and you could find this in this film. Interestingly there is not much difference between the character played by the actress in this film and her real life. Perhaps this was the reason why she has been the choice of the makers. Prakash Kovelamudi who happens to be the director of the film is a man to make an interesting and engaging film and somewhere has tried doing the same with Judgemental Hai Kya, but has failed to some extent. He has ended up making some mistakes in carrying out the right screenplay. The twist and turn with 360 degrees turn around of the climax will make the audience perplexed, however, for a normal audience, this film is certainly not the right fit as it falls into a niche category.

However, in terms of performance, Kangana Ranaut has nailed it with her incredible performance. She was able to portray the craziness on the silver screen much better than she does in her real life. Rajkummar Rao has done a decent job and somewhere again have carried out the justice to the given character but not much to be expected from him as Kangana alone has carried the movie on her shoulder. The others were okay. The direction seems week and so was the story of the flicks added in the movie. Lastly, the photography seemed okay but the director has to be blamed for this as much of the sequences are confined only to the society, police station and other places. The technical aspects have some glitches with the wrong placement of the songs.

Judgemental Hai Kya – The Last word

The film is certainly different in terms of story and content, but still is for the audience who have an interest in thriller genre movies. If you are a fan of Kangana then it is a must-watch movie. While for the non-fan it could be watching a film on its own risk.
