Niharica Raizada is a known face in small and digital platforms. She is an actress who hails from the UK where she was born in an Indian parent. Her grandfather was OP Nayyar the known music composer in Bollywood. She was born in India but was brought up in Luxembourg. She was born on 18th April 1990. She did her master’s program in Translational Medicine from the known college in the UK known as Imperial College London. She then headed for her research in Cardiology at the prestigious institute in Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore), getting a Fulbright scholarship. However, her background in films brought her close to acting.
She then got enrolled at the New York Film Academy getting training in it. She later learnt Indian classical music and ballet. She also tried her luck in modeling and in 2010 she bagged the Miss India UK crown and emerged as the first runner up in the show. She also came up with a song for a leading brand Chambor in French and later included in the list of Times 50 Most Desirable Women of 2013, and in 2015 rose to 44. Some of her known films in Bollywood include Masaan,, and Total Dhamaal. However, her debut came with a Bengali movie Damadol and then seen in Full 2 Jugaadu with Krushna Abhishek. She has remained honorary cultural and arts ambassador at the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for Republic of India.
