The year 2019 will be of sequels and remakes. As per the latest buzz, the film Ishq Vishq that gave the first break to the B Town actor Shahid Kapoor will have its sequel soon. The film made in 2003 had given an excellent start to the actor Bollywood. The film had a great star cast, which includes Amrita Rao and Shehnaz Treasury apart from Shahid Kapoor. As per reports, the makers are into the stage of jotting down the script. The film producer Ramesh Taurani has confirmed about the same. He also disclosed the other basic details of the sequel.
Talking about the same, he said that like the prequel, the film would once again have college or teenage romance. He stated that the film will get the script in the next few months while the makers will now be deciding upon the cast and director for the sequel. Talking about Shahid Kapoor, the producer said that he first found the actor in a music album from Aryan – Aakho Me Tera Hi Chehra, but at that time he was too young to be made as a hero in any film. Hence the producer asked him to wait for a few years till he gains a mature look.
The producer saw Amrita Rao in some coffee commercial and roped her in the prequel as the leading lady, while Shehnaz was a known face at MTV, which the makers decided to take in the supporting role. There were rumors that he will have Shahid Kapoor again but he denied saying that he is still to work on it and since the film is again based on a college or teen romance, it is likely to see young faces in the sequel.
