Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh’s superhit romantic drama ‘Ved’ to premiere on THIS OTT platform
Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh’s heart wrenching Marathi romantic drama ‘Ved’, which broke multiple box office records is finally set to have OTT premiere. The film, which also marked Riteish’s directorial debut, is set to have its digital premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 28 April in Marathi as well as Hindi. This makes it one of the rare Marathi films to also get dubbed in Hindi.

Disney+ Hotstar made an official announcement on 13 April by sharing the film’s Hindi trailer. Released on 30 December 2022, ‘Ved’ also starred Ashok Saraf, Jiya Shankar, Shubhankar Tawde in pivotal roles.
Ved is produced by Riteish’s and Genelia’s home production ‘Mumbai Film Company. The film’s music was composed by Ajay-Atul and it’s cinematography was done by Bhushankumar Jain. The film did the business of Rs. 75 crores making it the second highest grosser Marathi film in the history of Marathi cinema.

The romantic drama is an official remake of Telugu film ‘Majili (2019) starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Riteish will be next seen in horror-comedy ‘Visfot’ where he is paired opposite Fardeen Khan. The film is an official remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film, ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors and will premiere directly on OTT.
