Kapil Sharma who made his debut with his film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon seems to have impressed the audience getting a decent collection at the box office. By opening at a good note on its first day at a collection of around 8.60 crores, the film continued to do better in the upcoming first weekend tolling its collection of around 10.15 crores followed by 11.25 crores on Sunday. This makes a decent collection for the film, which seems to be competing better with the Madhur Bhandarkar film Calendar Girls released the same day. The response for the movie has been incredible all thanks to the lead star – Kapil Sharma who has created a good fan following with his show called Comedy Nights With Kapil.
As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon tolled to around 29 crores, which is indeed a good collection for a debut actors like Kapil Sharma. The film though has received an average review from most of the critics, however, it has managed to get positive word of mouth from the audience. All thanks the laugh riot, which seems to be doing good for the film. With such a good collection in its first weekend, the film seems to be giving a tough competition to other releases, and no wonder even the much awaited movie of Madhur Bhandarkar film called Calendar Girls too is facing the heat from KKPK.
