Kabir Khan Spills the Beans on Deepika Padukone’s Emotional Moment in the film

As the film 83 is all set to release this weekend, we see the makers talking a lot about this film in a big way. The sports drama that showcases the victory of Indian Cricket at Lords for the World Cup in 1983 has been always memorable. Kabir Khan has gone out of the way to recreate the history before the audience to get the feeling as to how the Indian cricket team won the finals and what went ahead and what really worked in the finals.

Kabir Khan shared that he saw Deepika Padukone turning emotional while doing some of the scenes in the movie. The lady seemed pretty choked up, claimed the filmmaker while being the part of the team where her husband Ranveer playing Kapil Dev allows his team to gain the victory. It was a historical victory and hence it did demand that kind of emotion, which the diva was able to showcase for the sequences. Deepika played Romi Dev, the wife of Kapil Dev in the film. Kabir Khan while talking to Bollywood Bubble said that the day was silent when the scene was done.

She called Kabir Khan by mistake and then stood silent on the other side as she felt choked up with loads of emotion with the scene. She later apologized to Kabir Khan for the silence and said it happened as she was too overwhelmed and she was not able to speak. To which Kabir Khan replied that he was expecting such reaction from her. And then applauded her efforts. Stay tuned to know more about the movie that has a huge star cast with actors like Hardy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi.
