Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Box Office Collection Day 8: The film enters second week with further dip in collection

Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ has entered its second week with a slight drop in box office revenue. At the end of the first week, the film had earned a total of Rs. 90.15 crore nett at the Indian box office. According to Sacnilk, the film earned barely Rs. 2 crore on Friday, its eighth day of release. The total Indian box office collection for the film now stands at Rs. 92.15 crore nett.

To be honest, this is a fairly bland performance, especially given the film’s phenomenal opening weekend.  Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan grossed Rs. 68.17 crore in its first weekend, and the film has only added Rs. 24 crore since then.

And with the release of Mani Ratnam’s magnum-opus Ponniyin Selvan 2 which has also received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, one can predict that the box office of ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ will only only dip down here onwards. Crossing the Rs. 100 crore milestone by the end of the second weekend now appears to be a difficult challenge, which appeared to be a relatively easy task after the first weekend collection was announced.
