He was also seen in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge playing the friend of SRK and also doing costume designing for him. He extended the same work for the other films as well DIl To Pagal Hai along with Veer Zara and Mohabbatein with Big B. Interestingly his film Kal Ho Na Ho was inspired by the life of his dying father which SRK played in it.
For him, Kajol has remained as a lucky charm in B Town. Hence we often see the lady appearing in most of the films.
