Exclusive: Kiara Advani talks about Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa, also reveals her character Reet and a lot more

Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are currently on a promotional spree for their upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Well, recently in an exclusive chat with Kiara Advani, the actress briefly talked about her upcoming film.

Talking about Akshay Kumar’s first edition of Bhool Bhulaiyaa Kiara Advani said that Bhool Bhulaiyaa was the first horror comedy film that the actress had seen. The actress said, “actually Bhool Bhulaiyaa was the first horror comedy film that I had watched in a cinema hall. I was around 14-15 years old and went with my friends. So I am a lot of horror movie fan, so it is very important that I watch a horror film and enjoy it.”

Further talking about heading with the franchise, “To take this franchise forward, it was a no brainer yes and Anees sir called me and he narrated the script to me. Of course, it’s a new story, it is entirely a new film, and the storyline is new and fresh. The whole premise of the film is totally different, but keeping the essence of the original film to create the nostalgia with the title track, Aami Je Tomar of course the character Mounjulika of course all of that. To keep intact in the second film so that people feel the nostalgia but the story is new.”

Talking about her character Reet in the film, Kiara said, Reet is a fun-loving and naughty girl, all at the same time. She is like any other youngster, a young girl enjoying her life. But of course, it is the situation where things turn up.”

Further, the actor was asked about her rapidly changing character plots in her career. Responding to this Kiara said that her character in Kabir Singh as Preeti was so impactful to the audience that every girl started finding Preeti in herself and soon after that Good News was released where the actress was seen in a very different peppy character where the audience also recognized her with this, and this was also appreciated by her directors who later on offered her variety of roles.

When asked about her experience working with the director Anees Bazmee. The actress said, “He is the king of comedy and my father is such a fan of him. Be it Welcome, be it Singh Is King, I mean he is such a happy comical person that it just shows out in his work and I have to give him a lot of credit because we shot this film in a period of two and a half years, to keep us motivated Anees Bazmee was always there.”
