Ajay Devgn admits kids Yug, Nysa help him keep up with the millennial trend

Ajay Devgn largely keeps a low profile and stays away from limelight. The actor has time and again mentioned that he isn’t mostly aware of the trends or fads.

However, in a recent interview, the actor admitted that he relies on his children Nysa and Yug to keep up with current events. According to the actor, they frequently criticise him for being “old fashioned.”

Ajay is married to actress Kajol and has two children with her. Nysa Devgan is 18 years old, and Yug is 11 years old. Both of them are frequently seen in Kajol and Ajay’s social media posts. In a new interview, Ajay discussed how he uses his children to help him understand new-age fads.

Ajay was quoted as saying, “I think we all learn from the younger generation. If we have to keep up with the world, we need to understand from them. Apart from my kids, my nephews, and everybody who is younger around me, we actually ask them what’s cool because the language is also changing every three months. I mean there are terms which are used and then you learn that term and use it and after three months, they turn around and say ‘Pops, this is old fashion!’”

The actor says it was the need of the hour, because one must keep up with the times.”So you need to keep up and to do that, you need to have lots of conversations and need to learn from them. This is what I believe,” he said.

Ajay was recently seen in Rudra, an Indian adaptation of Luther, a web series. The series, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on March 4, was well received by critics, who praised Ajay’s performance in particular. In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Alia Bhatt-starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, the actor had an extended cameo.
