After Himesh Reshammiya, Kishore Kumar controversy episodes, Indian Idol 12 to air Javed Akhtar Special!
Indian Idol is one of the most controversial shows on Television. The 12th season of the show is making headlines lately for multiple reasons. However, the show has managed to gather decent viewership. The show is getting some flak on social media, primarily after the Himesh Reshammiya and Kishore Kumar special episode.
After all this now the makers of the show are set to bring another special dedicated to the legendary writer, lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar. The episode will be aired this weekend. The veteran will be seen gracing the stage.
According to the reports, the episode will see Javed Sahab witnessing the continent’s performances. As per the report, this special episode is called ‘Tribute to Javed Saab’.
Indian Idol 12 contestants Pawandeep Rajan, Sayli Kamble, Ashish Kulkarni, Md Danish, Nihal Torro, Shanmukha Priya and Arunita Kanjilal, will be singing songs from Javed Akhtar’s chartbuster songs. The veteran writer-lyricist will also encourage the participants with a lot of tips and guidance.
The ‘Tribute to Javed Saab’ episode will telecast this weekend at 9:30 p.m. on Sony TV.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Salman Khan’s production house come on board with Zoya Akhtar & Farhan Akhtar to produce the Salim-Javed documentary. The documentary will chronicles the lives of these stalwarts will be titled, Angry Young Men.
