Manoj Bajpayee has responded to Sunil Pal’s criticism of him and his show The Family Man, here’s what the actor had to say!
Sunil Pal, a comedian, recently made news for insulting actor Manoj Bajpayee. In a video that went popular on social media, he referred to Manoj as “gira hua aadmi.” He also referred to the Oscar winner as “badtameez” and compared his online series “The Family Man” to “porn.”
Manoj has now responded to Sunil’s statements in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, suggesting that the comedian take up meditation to deal with his unemployment.
“I understand people don’t have jobs. I completely understand. I have been in this situation. But in these kinds of situations, people should meditate,” Manoj was quoted as saying.
Earlier this month, the Season 1 winner of the Great Indian Laughter Challenge took aim at the Gangs of Wasseypur actor, saying in a video, “Manoj Bajpayee kitna hi bada actor hoga, kitne hi bade awards mile, par usse zyada badtameez aur gira hua aadmi maine nahi dekha (However big an actor Manoj Bajpayee is and how many ever prestigious awards he has won, I have never seen a more ill-mannered and immoral man).”
Sunil Pal also claimed that Manoj is involved in the creation of “pornographic” content and criticized the plot of The Family Man’s second season. “Yeh saari cheezein jo hai na bandh honi chahiye. Yeh bhi ek porn hai. Porn sirf dikhane ka nahi hota, vichaaron ka bhi porn hota hai (All these things should be banned. Even this is a type of porn. Porn is not only about what we see but of thoughts as well),” the comedian said.
Sunil, who has appeared in films like Phir Hera Pheri and Apna Sapna Money Money in minor comic roles, was once chastised for using vulgar language about doctors.
