1) Love Aaj Kal

Love Aaj Kal

Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and Giselli Monteiro’s performance in Imtiaz Ali’s film Love Aaj Kal was a breath of fresh air. The movie features two love stories, one taking place in the present and the other in 1965. Jai Vardhan Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and Meera Pandit (Deepika Padukone), who fall in love but eventually break up, are at the center of the narrative. Then, restaurateur Veer Singh (Rishi Kapoor) tries to persuade Jai to pursue Meera in the same way that he had sought Harleen Kaur. The audience adored this contemporary love story, and not only did they enjoy the plot but the songs as well.

2) Dil Chahta Hai

Dil Chahta Hai

How can we forget to include Dil Chahta Hai, our favorite Saif Ali Khan film? One of the best romantic coming-of-age films to date is the Farhan Akhtar-directed 2001 film. This movie was a smash because of the compelling plot and outstanding acting. The tale centers around three close friends and how they handle love and relationships. Saif Ali Khan, Amir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, Preity Zinta, and Sonali Kulkarni are all featured in the film. Dil Chahta Hai is a fantastic movie because of its excellent performance, moving story, and wonderful melodies.

3) Cocktail

Cocktail

Cocktail, a movie directed by Homi Adajania and starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty, centers on Meera (Diana Penty), a woman whose husband has abandoned her, who meets Veronica (Deepika Padukone) at a store and is thereafter given sanctuary by Veronica. The two then run into playboy Gautam (Saif Ali Khan), who begins dating Veronica until things go sideways when he falls in love with Meera. The movie Cocktail brilliantly captures relationships, love, and friendship. Not simply because the ensemble had wonderful chemistry and delivered excellent performances, but also because this movie is absolutely worth bingeing.

4) Hum Tum

Hum Tum

Hum Tum, starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee, is one of the most entertaining films to date. It is a lighthearted romantic comedy. The plot centers on Karan (Saif Ali Khan) and Rhea (Rani Mukherjee), who first get along on a plane but later develop a dislike for one another. As their paths occasionally cross, their hate eventually gives way to respect, friendship, and then love. The amazing chemistry between the two actors was the star of this movie.

5) Omkara

Omkara

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj showed bravery when he cast an ensemble for Omkara, his rendition of Othello by William Shakespeare. The key characters were played flawlessly by Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vivek Oberoi, and Bipasha Basu in the movie. In the movie, Langda Tyagi was portrayed by Saif Ali Khan. One of the scariest characters Saif has ever played on screen, he played the antagonist in the movie rather convincingly. The plot centers on how he subtly manipulates Ajay Devgn’s character to make him believe his wife is having an affair out of ego and envy. In the end, there is a carnage that no one survives, with sad results for everyone.

6) Tanhaji : The Unsung Warrior

Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior

If there was ever any doubt about Saif Ali Khan’s ability to portray a villain, this movie was it! Ajay Devgn as the star and Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Rathod, the film was a magnum work that left fans in awe. Some could argue that he’s portrayed a role this grey before, but that character was historically accurate this time. Tanhaji Malusare, a Maratha Subedar (played by Ajay Devgn), had Udaybhan Rathod as an arch-enemy. Saif’s performance as the character was so convincing, that he was compared to Ranveer Singh’s performance as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat. For his part in this action movie, Saif also underwent intensive physical training and horseback riding instruction.

Saif Ali Khan has a long list of diverse roles in his career. ranging from portraying the joyful man to historical parts. Saif has consistently chosen some of the most diversified characters, whether they are grey characters or overtly comedic roles, and the public has been consistently impressed.
