Boney Kapoor Addresses Maidaan’s Repeated Delays: “This Time, Circumstances Are Beyond My Control

Film producer Boney Kapoor has opened up about the challenges he faced in producing his upcoming sports drama Maidaan. In an interview with The New Indian, Kapoor said that the pandemic, unpredictable weather, and other unforeseen circumstances caused major delays and cost overruns in the Ajay Devgn-starrer.

Kapoor said that the pandemic was the biggest challenge, as it forced the film to shut down production for several months. He also said that the unpredictable weather in India made it difficult to film certain scenes. “We had to shoot in difficult weather conditions, and there were also some unforeseen circumstances that came up,” Kapoor said. “All of this caused delays and cost overruns.”

Despite the challenges, Kapoor said that he is happy with the way Maidaan has turned out. He said that the film is a tribute to Indian football and that it will be a “visual spectacle” for audiences. “Maidaan is a film that I am very passionate about,” Kapoor said. “It is a tribute to Indian football, and I am confident that audiences will love it.” Boney Kapoor Unhappy with Insurance Claim for Maidaan Delays

Film producer Boney Kapoor has revealed that he has not received a satisfactory amount of insurance money to cover the losses incurred due to the delays in the production of his upcoming sports drama Maidaan. In an interview with The New Indian, Kapoor said that he is “not a penny in debt” to anyone, but that the situation with Maidaan is “not in my control.” “I never get demoralised,” Kapoor said. “I catch the bull by the horns, and I sleep peacefully. But I’ve been having sleepless nights recently because of Maidaan.”

Kapoor’s comments suggest that he is frustrated with the insurance company and that he is concerned about the financial impact of the delays on the film.
