Diwali is a joyous time for families to come together and celebrate the auspicious festival of lights. Even for celebrities, whose work schedules keep them away from their loved ones for most of the year, it’s a time to reunite and rejoice. Priyanka Chopra may be spending more time in the US now than in India, but her desi heart will never change, especially during Diwali!
Unlike the last few years, however, where PeeCee would go all out with her Diwali celebrations, 2022 saw Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrate in a low-key manner. Joined by the actress’ mother Madhu Chopra, the trio enjoyed a dinner date at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Priyanka Chopra and her mother, Madhu Chopra, were both dressed beautifully in Indian attire in the endearing photos obtained by Backgrid USA. Priyanka looked lovely in a teal salwar kameez with silver jhuttis and a dark green purse. Chopra’s curls were flawlessly styled. Madhu, on the other hand, looked stunning in a light yellow salwar kameez with a baby pink dupatta, brown wedges, and diamond earrings, with her hair parted sleekly. Nick was the epitome of biker cool, dressed all in black – leather jacket, turtleneck, slacks, and sneakers. Jonas was carrying a coffee and a military green sling bag.
Nickyanka fans couldn’t stop cooing over Nick jiju as he escorted Madhu Chopra out of the hotel while holding her hand. The couple has always been full of praise for one another, and seeing Nick’s familial side has us even more convinced that he’s PeeCee’s ideal man! As they shared a hearty meal, Nick reserved a special smile for the leading lady in his life.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are celebrating Diwali for the first time with their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. PeeCee and Nick announced to the world in January that they had welcomed their first child, a beautiful daughter. The couple has been extremely protective of Malti Marie and has not revealed her face, instead opting to share small glimpses of parenthood on their respective social media handles while expertly hiding their baby’s face.
Priyanka Chopra has a lot of exciting projects coming up at work! It’s All Coming Back to Me, James C. Strouse’s romantic drama that is a remake of the 2016 German film SMS für Dich and stars Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, is set to be released in February of next year. Chopra will also appear in the Russo Brothers’ highly anticipated spy series Citadel, opposite Richard Madden. While juggling singing and acting projects, Nick Jonas also dabbled as a reality show judge by coaching The Voice Seasons 18 and 20, as well as being a dance creator on Dancing With Myself.
