Cheating and fraud are not just a part next door but, it can happen to anyone anytime. Similar happened in Australia with one of the popular Bollywood actresses.
If you remember the beautiful actress with her super flexi moves in Kisna, Isha Sharvani, she is the one who was tricked. After she couldn’t make her success path in Bollywood, she kept making the headlines with her yoga performances, Indian Contemporary dance, aerial moves and training schedules in the South. She has remained in hotspot due to her flexi aerial moves.
Since some time, she has started living in Perth, Australia. It was here where she was recently duped of 57000 AUD by three accused men pretending to be the Australian Tax officers. The fraud sums to a total of around Rs. 3 lakhs in Indian currency. The actress after realising that she has been swindled, soon filed a complaint with the Delhi Police’s Cyber Crime Unit on September 17.
The DCP Cyber Cell Aneesh Roy said that the actress over a phone call was told that she has evaded tax and will be arrested if she doesn’t pay the amount immediately. Coaxed into sharing her accountant’s number, she got furious and didn’t realize what was the right thing to do. However, the good news is that the three men who were held responsible for the same have been arrested.
As per the Delhi Police, the three men who have been arrested in this regard are based out of Delhi and hold a record of conning many Indians, who are living in Australia.
