Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Film “Bawaal” Shifts Release Date to July 21 on Amazon Prime Video; Here’s the Reason Why
We hear a lot about the Varun Dhawan and Janhhvi Kapoor films these days. The recent buzz suggests that the release date of the upcoming film has been changed. The film, which stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, was originally scheduled to release on July 27 on Amazon Prime Video. However, the makers have now decided to release the film on July 21.
The decision to change the release date was made after Varun Dhawan and the film’s team felt that it would be unfair to release the film on OTT a day before Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which is scheduled to release in theaters on July 28. Varun holds Karan in high regard as the latter was the one who launched the former in Student Of The Year (2012).
The source also revealed that the promotions for Bawaal will begin in the first week of July. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is a romantic action thriller that is set in Paris. Bawaal is the first film to be released directly on Amazon Prime Video after the release of Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey in March 2022. The film is expected to be a major success for the streaming platform.
The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who is known for his films Dangal and Chhichhore, while it is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who is one of the most successful producers in Bollywood.
