Taiwanese Singer Slammed Media Reports: “Stop Looking At My Breasts”

TsaiPopular Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai has gone hard on the media outlet for focusing on her cleXvage in a news report.
The singing star is well-known for her popular songs such as Magic (2003) and Dancing Diva (2006). While holding a four-day birthday bash last weekend with her family and friends in Pattaya, Thailand, she turned 39 on Sept 15.

Headlines about the Taiwanese magazine Mirror Media focusing on her breasts and running several photos of her in revealing clothes made the singer furious. It also mentioned her sitting position and even remarked that it could have led to an accidental exposure.

Smashing such a cheap coverage, Tsai asked in a Facebook post last Thursday: “When a series of articles mentions G-cup breasts in the headline, what type of fierce desire education is the readers receiving?”

Furious on the media, she even commented, “Stop looking at my breasts!”

She added the hashtag #bodyawareness in her post.

The post received more than 2,460 comments, with several netizens taking the issue with the magazine for disrespecting a woman’s body and diverting attention from her birthday celebration to cheap sexist remarks.

Taiwan’s Education Ministry also added on account of this subject by commenting that it needed to revise its fierce desire education and increase the curriculum time to more than two hours. The comment has received huge number of “likes” on Facebook.
Tsai’s latest album titled, Ugly Beauty has won two major awards in late June at the Golden Melody Awards, which the Chinese equivalent of the Grammy Awards.
