The Nagraj Manjule recently released Marathi film called Sairat is constantly making headlines in the media. Besides becoming a killer film at the box office getting 41 crores to being screened at the Berlin International Film Festival, the movie has come a long way getting all rounds of applauds from all the circles including the B Town. The first one from B Town to react on the movie was Aamir Khan followed by Ritiesh Deshmukh and Tusshar Khan who applauded the story and the performance of the actors in the film along with speaking good amount the director to embark with such a realistic kind film.
The other celebrities from B Town who took opportunity to applaud the film included the Trade analyst Taran Adarh, filmmaker – Anurag Kashyap, popular playback singer – Shreya Ghoshal, Vicky Kaushal, Mukti Menon and Komal Nahta to name a few, who took all time to share their views about the movie in the microblogging site – Twitter. The list of people who have expressed their views about the film Sairat is huge, which give reasons to the entire crew of the film to celebrate.
The film was released on 29th April 2016 wherein it caught the fire the very same day securing around 5 crores in the first day itself. The collection went up further in the first weekend giving the film a good boost tolling to around 12 crores in the first weekend, while the same movie did well during the weekdays giving a figure of around 25 crores and till date the collection has gone to 41 crores. The film has a young star cast, who have no background in working in films and Sairat has given them to do their debut with it. Needless to say that the film is still doing better in the state of Maharashtra apart from the other states as well.
