Dharam Sankat Mein was one of the movies releasing last Friday amidst lots of competition. Hence as expected, the audience simply failed to see any good response for the film. Right from the promotion, to word of mouth buzz and low occupancy report, things really didn’t work for the film. In fact, the film collection even went the half what the earlier Paresh Rawal starring film Oh My God (OMG) has received in 2012. The film was seen struggling to find any audience for it giving a very low collection.
As per reports, the movie was able to collect 1.3 crores, which slightly went up in the coming two days increasing the figure to a meagre amount. The first weekend box office collection for Dharam Sankat Mein tolled to around 5 crores. It is a king of movie, which would have simply managed to pick up only of reviews were uniformly very much good having a nice word of mouth. However, nothing seemed working for the film despite the presence of veterans like Naseeruddin Shah, Annu Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. The other movies like Leela Ek Paheli seems emerging as a big challenge for Dharam Sankat Mein.
