Bollywood actress Radhika Apte on Tuesday expressed solidarity with the Indian Army.

“All I feel is that what is happening is absolutely disastrous. What has happened is beyond our comprehension because we were not there. You can sympathies and talk about it only. I have no words,” She said at the launch of Swatch watches on Tuesday.

Asked about banning the Pakistani actors the ‘Parched’ actress said that she doesn’t want to indulge herself into the matter.

The ‘Kabaali’ star also spoke about the recent racial offence made against her co-actress Tannishtha Chatterjee on a popular comedy show.

“I believe in a lot of different things. If you are talking about cracking a joke on colour, I am completely against it. They didn’t comment on my colour but called me lizard or something which I found funny. However, I completely support Tannishtha,” Radhika said.

“Honestly I knew about the show. If they had done something like body-shaming me, I also would’ve protested. I spoke to them on backstage. I think Tannishtha wasn’t aware of the show but the statement she made I agree with her 200 per cent,” she added.

When asked about the video of the film leaking, she refused.

“Sorry, your question is very ridiculous. Controversies are made by the people like you. You saw the clip, you shared with other people, so you made the controversy,” she said at the launch of Swatch watches on Tuesday.

Recently, the leaked intimate scene between Adil Hussain and Radhika from ‘Parched‘ created a big controversy. However, the makers said the film is much more than the scenes.

Radhika has not been shy from speaking her mind. Rather than keeping quiet about the controversy, she stressed in all her interviews how the film was much more than that one ‘sex’ leaked scene.

In Tuesday’s event, she said: “I am an artist… if I am required to do a certain job then I will do it. If you get out of your cocoon and look at the world cinema and what people are doing abroad and that is too successfully then you would have not probably asked this question.

“I am not ashamed of anything. People who are embarrassed about their own body are curious about other’s body. So if you want to see a naked body tomorrow, see yourself in the mirror rather than my clip. Then only we can talk about this.”

Radhika said, she has finished shooting for “Ghoul”, “The Ashram” and “Bombairiya” which will releas in December.

Directed by Ben Rekhi “The Ashram” also stars actors like Kal Penn and Melissa Leo. “Bombairiya” is directed by Pia Sukanya and also stars Akshay Oberoi and Siddhanth Kapoor.
