Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty granted bail in a cheating case

Back in February, Shilpa Shetty and her mother was summoned in a case. According to ANI, Amra, the owner of a vehicle agency, has accused them of not repaying Rs 21 lakh. Shilpa’s late father, according to the businessman, borrowed Rs 21 lakh in 2015 and was supposed to pay it back in January 2017.

Now, recently, the Andheri court granted bail in loan default and cheating case. The metropolitan magistrate court cancelled the bailable warrant that was issued against Sunanda Shetty last month.

The Andheri court had summoned the Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty and their mother to appear in court on 28th February 2022. ANI tweeted the update, informing, “Andheri court has issued summon to actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, her sister Shamita Shetty and mother Sunanda Shetty following a complaint by a businessman who has alleged non-repayment of Rs 21 lakhs loan by them; court orders the three to appear on February 28”. Further information is awaited.

Meanwhile, on the work front, just a few days ago, Shilpa Shetty had shared an update about her upcoming film. The actress shared a cute boomerang video with the whole team of Nikamma including Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Shetia and Sabir Khan. Well, Nikamma is initially Shilpa’s first film as a comeback after a sabbatical of 13 years. Due to Covid the release date of the film got postponed several times and hence Hungama 2 got released first on the OTT platform.
