Amidst all differences between BJP and its Ally – Shiv Sena, we see many in the Twitter requesting Anil Kapoor to be the Chief Minister for the state just like what he has remained in his film Nayak way back in 2001. His role of Shivaji Rao becoming a one day CM of the state has impressed everyone from being a simple TV journalist to the chief of state was applauded by one and all. So, when we see the leading parties elected in the state busy fighting as to who would be their next CM, Twitter is seen asking him to be the CM the way he has remained in his film. One of the Twitter even tagged Devendra Fadnavis and Aditya Thackeray while suggesting Anil to be the next CM of the state.
The tweet finally reached to Anil Kapoor and his reply was sensible enough to be applauded. He wrote he is happy to be an actor. The film was released in 2001 with Rani Mukherji in the leading role, while Amrish Puri was in a negative role. The story revolves around the life of the CM and the Journalist who takes up the challenge of becoming a CM for one day to challenge him.
