OMG: Tom Alter is fighting 4th stage of skin cancer confirms his son
The actor needs no introduction, he has come a long way from being a theater man to a film persona. He has given a number of movies and TV shows, which has given a recognition in the industry. But if you check the current buzz for the actor, he is 67 years old and has been fighting skin cancer at the Mumbai Hospital confirmed his son. His son informed that his father has been unfortunate for not being detected the skin cancer in its initial days, which has caused the problem for him.
Last year, when Tom Alter was getting his thumb amputated owing to the bad medical condition many came to know about this health. Now, he is in the fourth stage and he is now admitted in Mumbai’s Saifee Hospital since past week. His son informed that he has been combating well with the treatment given in the hospital. He said since the family demands privacy in this regard, hence nothing much is discussed in the media, though his son said that he would be informing regularly the media about the conditions of his father.
He is known for giving a number of good TV shows including Bharat Ki Khoj, Betaal Pachisi and Zabaan Sabhalke to name a few. He hails from the US but is settled in India. He had a great career both in the theatre and TV along with the Bollywood films as well. Some of his silver screen ventures, which are still remembered for his good roles including Parinda, Aashiqui, Kranti, Shatranj Ke Khiladi and Gandhi. He has also received Padma Shri award for her contribution in Indian cinema. He was invited Mussoorie last week for releasing his short film called The Black Cat. We wish and pray that he recovers soon from his fourth stage skin cancer.
