Will Abhishek-Saiyami’s Magical Pair Ready to Dazzle at the Box Office?
Just when the trailer for R Balki’s upcoming film Ghoomer has been released, it promises to be a powerful and moving story about a paraplegic sports person who overcomes social challenges and personal struggles to achieve her dreams. Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of the coach who helps the young woman, played by Saiyami Kher, to achieve her goals. The trailer is full of emotional moments, as the two characters face adversity and triumph together.
The trailer has been well-received by critics and audiences alike, with many people praising the performances of Bachchan and Kher. As the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 18, 2023, we hear R Balki went on to say that he wanted to make a cricket film that was different from the others that have been made before. “We have seen so many films on cricket. Nobody wants to see another cricket film,” he said. “If I’m doing (just) a cricket film, what would I give back to cricket or the sport? We did a lot of research and actually came up with a new delivery, which cricket has not seen… So, that’s interesting.”
Balki also said that Ghoomer is a story about inspiration. “It’s about how one person can inspire another person to achieve their dreams,” he said. “I think that’s a very important message, especially in today’s world.” So, amid all this, we also see the leading couple in the film – Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher give powerful performances. And as the makers with R Balki in particular, who is known for his sensitive and intelligent films, we can certainly expect a rocking start of the film, thus R Balki is likely to show some magic like his previous film at the box office.
