Bollywood big ticket releases many times clash at the box-office. The makers attempt to avoid such clashes so that no film eats other movie’s profit. We have seen many biggies clashing at the ticket window and now, it will repeat for one more time. Reportedly, John Abraham, Diana Penty starrer forthcoming attraction ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ will lock horns with Rani Mukherjee’s movie ‘Hichki’ as both the flicks will release on February 23, 2018.

Prior to this, the film ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ was supposed to clash with the movie ‘Padmavati’ by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. However, the clash was avoided. Prernaa Arora, the co-producer of the John Abraham starrer attested the news update by stating that ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ is rather a small venture as compared to ‘Padmavati’ and both the films’ release dates will not clash.

Before a month of release of ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’, Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Pari’ hits the screens. Release date in April 2018 is being considered by the makers of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’ and then the film ‘Fanney Khan’ also arrives in theatres followed by the movie ‘Drive’ by Tarun Mansukhani.

The co-producer Arora spoke about the clash of ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ and the film ‘Hichki’ at the box-office by saying that sometimes it may happen that two nice flicks can arrive together at the box-office and both the movies belong to diverse genre so this clash should not be an issue, added Arora.

‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ will present the tale of India’s first and confidential nuclear test series carried out by the Indian government. These five nuclear bomb test explosions took place in Pokhran, Rajasthan in 1998. The flick is helmed by Abhishek Sharma. It’s an ode to the army and scientists, as said by the lead star John.
