From PS1 to GodFather, who wins the box office number game this weekend
On Dusshera 7th October films such as GodFather and The Ghost were released in theatres, and it was predicted that films such as Ponniyin Selvan and Vikram Vedha would benefit.

Ponniyin Selvan 1: Day 6
Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 starring Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, and Jayam Ravi is performing quite well at the movie office. According to early estimates, the film earned Rs. 20.15 crore net (all languages) on Dusshera, bringing the 6-day total to Rs. 171.10 crore net. According to reports, the film’s worldwide gross has surpassed Rs. 300 crore.
Ponniyin Selvan 1 Hindi: Day 6
The Hindi dubbed version of Ponniyin Selvan 1 has done well at the box office. On Dusshera, the Hindi version grew somewhat, and according to early estimates, it earned Rs. 2.06 crore on day 6. So far, the Hindi version has earned Rs. 13.36 crore net.
Vikram Vedha: Day 6
Saif Ali Khan and Hritik Roshan’s Vikram Vedha did well at the box office on its first weekend but fell short on weekdays. However, Dussehra aided the film’s box office performance, and according to early estimates, it garnered Rs. 7 crore on day 6, bringing the total to Rs. 55.10 crore.
GodFather: Day 1
GodFather, Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan’s much-talked-about film had a strong start at the box office. In India, the film grossed Rs. 18.30 crore net (Telugu) on its first day. According to the producers, the picture grossed Rs. 38 crore globally on day one.
GodFather Hindi: Day 1
GodFather is also available in Hindi. Salman Khan appears in the film as a cameo, however, it appears that spectators would rather see a Salman Khan-led picture than a cameo. On the first day, GodFather Hindi earned Rs. 75 lakh.
The Ghost: Day 1
The Ghost, starring Nagarjuna, has not been a box office success. According to early estimates, the picture has earned Rs. 3.50 crore, which is much less than the previous day’s holiday.
