Why Laxmi Agarwal Was Absent in Chhapaak Trailer Launch Event?
As Deepika Padukone came out with her next venture Chhappak’s trailer, it was an instant hit in the media by getting a huge amount of views for it. The trailer launch program in Mumbai in the presence of Leggy Lass and filmmaker Meghna Gulzar seemed to be an interesting one. The film is based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal the lady who survived from the acid attack and her struggle to seek justice in the male-dominated society.
The trailer launch event had all the cast and crew members including Vikrant Massey and others. However, the audience missed the lady on which this film is based, yes you guessed it right, Laxmi Agarwal. Many raised questions as to why she was not part of the event. However, the makers then revealed that they have some special plans with the lady and they do not want to share before the media.
As per the sources close to the makers, they intend to have another trailer launch event in Delhi where she would be called as a special guest. Earlier talking about the movie, Laxmi said that she is delighted to see a film based on her life has been made. She called it to be a sensitive issue and expecting that the audience would understand its sensitivity as well. When asked if she was involved in the film, she replied that she has been the part of the film and was involved in it. She said both the director and the actress has spent good time with her. The film is releasing on 10th Jan 2020 and is produced by Deepika Padukone in association with Fox Star Studios.
