Suzanne Bernert is a German-born actress who is active in Indian films in different languages. She was born on 26 September 1982 and was raised in the German Detmold. She did her schooling and college from Germany and then started her career. She completed her 3-year acting course when she was 16 under Heidelotte Diehl in Berlin and later even got trained in ballet dancer. She then learns Lavani Dance and then also did another similar course at the American producer and Acting Guru Susan Batson’s institute in Berlin. Suzanne happens to be the main lead in the film called Destined Hearts, which was made by an Indian filmmaker Anant Duseja in the year 2003, and it was shot entirely in Dubai, however, the film is still unreleased.

In 2005, she moved to Mumbai and can be seen speaking languages like Hindi, Marathi and Bengali. Suzanne has worked in a number of TV series for regional ones like Bengali and Marathi along with Hindi. Currently she is also working in regional movies (Bengali and Marathi) apart from the TV serials. She has appeared in a commercial ad with Aamir Khan in the ad of Titan Watches. She heads a theater group called Vijeta along with her Indian husband  Akhil. She also remains the part of Jaipur tourism promotion when she worked in a short film called Padharo India.

She is among the first foreign celebrity to be seen in Lavani Celebrity Dance Show to the Semi Finals called the Dholkichya Talavar Reality Show called the RDP/Logical Thinkers as herself. She is also seen in the film called The Accidental Prime Minister wherein she plays the role of Sonia Gandhi, which is slated to release in December 2018. Talking about applauds she has bagged the award for the Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema and Television in the famous Rajasthan International Film Festival 2018. Some of her films include Than Than Gopal (Marathi), Ramdhanu – The Rainbow (Bengali), Love Recipe (Hindi), Iti Mrinalini (Bengali), No Problem (Hindi), Shahrukh Bola “Khoobsurat Hai Tu” (Hindi), In the Name of Tai and Kram (Hindi) to name a few.
