Spirit First Look Unveiled: Sandeep Reddy Vanga Treats Prabhas Fans to a Special New Year Surprise

The much-awaited Pan-India film Spirit, marking the first collaboration between director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and superstar Prabhas, has kicked off 2026 with a bang. As the clock struck midnight welcoming the New Year, the makers dropped the film’s first look, instantly igniting excitement among fans and cementing Spirit as one of the most talked-about upcoming releases.
Since its announcement, Spirit has been in the spotlight, fueled by the powerful pairing of Prabhas and Vanga—both known for their intense, impactful cinema. The midnight reveal was a strategic move, echoing Vanga’s successful promotional style from the past. On December 31, the director teased fans on social media, writing, “People… A few hours more for SPIRIT – First Poster,” which sparked widespread buzz and anticipation.
This tactic mirrors Vanga’s promotional approach when he announced Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, where a midnight teaser generated massive online chatter. With Spirit, Vanga has recreated that buzz on an even bigger, Pan-India scale. The film also made headlines earlier this year after a casting change that stirred fan interest.
Deepika Padukone, initially attached to the project, exited due to work-hour concerns. Triptii Dimri was then cast, marking her first collaboration with Prabhas and second with Vanga (after Animal), adding another layer of intrigue to the film. Apart from the actor Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, Spirit features Vivek Oberoi and Kanchana among its ensemble cast.
Talking about the film, iti is produced by T-Series, the film is being crafted on a grand scale, promising a blend of Vanga’s signature storytelling and Prabhas’ Pan-India appeal. With its first look now out and promotional momentum building, Spirit is shaping up to be one of 2026’s most anticipated cinematic events, setting the stage for an electrifying year in Indian cinema.
