Sonam Chhabra is an actress and TV host who is active mostly in TV who hails from Delhi. She was born on 8th July 1977 in Delhi and was brought up at this place. She completed her schooling from St. Xaviers School and later studied in finance from Hansraj College in Delhi. She then completed her Master in Mass Communication and later completed her PhD in Mass Communication. She started working as a festival host and in event management taking care of college festivals and working as Emcee. Her entry into the world of anchoring by accident.

After the college event, her first professional event being an Emcee was meant for the Indian Army at Delhi. She is known to be the part of many events for TV, corporate and major sporting events. She also tried her luck in short films and theatre working as an actress and did her debut in film with the movie called Kirket, which is all set to release soon. She was awarded for the Best Achor India two times at a stretch in the year 2017 and 2018. She also started appearing for TED talks discussing the objectification of women.
