“Sole and Exclusive”: Cape of Good Films Asserts Rights to Hera Pheri 3

Cape of Good Films LLP, the production banner helmed by Akshay Kumar, has taken decisive action to protect its stake in the highly anticipated comedy Hera Pheri 3.

In a public notice published in the July 4, 2026 edition of Complete Cinema magazine, the production house formally declared itself the sole and exclusive holder of all rights to produce and commercially exploit the film.

Cape of Good Films asserts that it possesses an “irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual and unencumbered licence” to handle the film. This claim covers all aspects of the movie’s life cycle, including several things. These include about Production & Distribution has Marketing, licensing, and syndication and the Media Platforms: Television, OTT streaming, digital platforms, and future technologies and the Commercial Exploitation: All modes, formats, and advertising.

A Warning to Stakeholders

The notice serves as a direct instruction to the entire Indian film trade, specifically addressing distributors, cinema chains, broadcasters, OTT platforms, and advertisers.

The production house has issued a stern warning to all industry members:

“Do not enter into any arrangement, transaction, negotiation, representation, or dealing with any third party claiming rights to Hera Pheri 3 without prior written authorization from Cape of Good Films LLP.”

Legal Consequences

Cape of Good Films has made it clear that any entity ignoring this notice will be acting at their own risk. The company has explicitly reserved all legal and equitable remedies available to it, should its interests be infringed upon by unauthorized parties.
