Sikandar Box Office Day 11: Salman Khan’s Film Crosses ₹105 Crore but Struggles to Maintain Momentum

Despite being one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, Salman Khan’s Eid release, Sikandar, has struggled to meet expectations at the box office, receiving a lukewarm response. According to the latest report from Sacnilk.com, after 11 days of release, the film has surpassed ₹105 crore in collections.
Day 11 Performance
On day 11, Sikandar reportedly earned approximately ₹1.19 crore, bringing its total collection to ₹106.94 crore. The film launched with an opening of ₹26 crore, which was notably lower than Chhaava, which garnered ₹31 crore. By the end of its first week, Sikandar had accumulated ₹90.25 crore, but its performance has significantly declined in the second week, with day 11 marking the lowest single-day earnings for the film.
Competition in the Box Office
Sikandar is currently facing stiff competition from another release, L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal, which has maintained steady box office performance despite some controversies related to its subject matter.

About the Film
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar is an action-thriller featuring an ensemble cast, including Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. An excerpt from the Hindustan Times review highlights: “Salman still owns action scenes like a boss. You know he means business when he merely stands in a battlefield. Yet, Murugadoss’ direction is so below average, that it makes Salman appear even weaker an actor than he really is. And then there is Rashmika, whose dialogue delivery problems persist. She’s unconvincing, and virtually no scene allows her to redeem herself.”
